it has already been said that super nova (and very probably the other enemy abilities) cannot be used by characters.

So the modeling is already in, the only -last- thing to do is to create a special sword, for the weapon menu, like the one Sephiroth gots in the flashback (or using this one if it's possible).

I suggest you read what Stormmedia said again this time slowly.  Sephiroth is a special character and that is the problem.  He's scripted etc, seperately.  His model is just being switched with another characters EVEN when he appears in the game (This is how Young Cloud can fight in his group in the various encounters in flash backs). His sword (equiped or otherwise) also exists because of this as a legal weapon, but only he can use it.  This means a LOT of messing with the game engine code itself.  His weapon DOES exist however and it is possible to equipe it if the character is truely Sephiroth, again the problem with this is the game will unequipe it because you are substituting one character for Sephiroth.  The only way to do this I can think of off my head is swap the models for Vincent, and even then you cannot use Sephiroth's enemy abilities because those are attached to an enemy.  The game engine itself prevents this.

You mean you are bad at searching for information, and you are sure where he obtained his? (informations is improper there is no pluralization of information it is both the plural and singular check the definition of information).  You think it's not easy to find?

Hey, just thought I'd ask a question, would it be at all possible to put the High Res Sephiroth (from the final battle) in this game? I know it wouldn't be easy but take a look, he has a damage animation when he gets owned with Omnislash so that means He'd work perfectly except maybe casting magic and items. Just a thought.

hello, i just joined and tried the spehiroth patch, but said that the FFVII.exe was an unrecognized version. is it really imperitave to get the v1.02 update? PS i did everything right upto using the seph patch, thank you
