Cool thanks Satsuki. Is that something that can be fixed, or should I find a different font mod? Btw, Satsuki, what would I have to uncheck to use a different font mod?
As said in the first post of my mods : "Please Use Steam AIO installer unless you want to add other mods; if you want to add more mods then use 7th Heaven 2.3 + iros (no support from me here for 7th Heaven)."
So just go to 7h if you want to change mods, it's more conveniant for this

The problem is that nt mod seems to use unused font char to convert them in psx buttons.
In Aavock font the char are used as in the original pc font witch didn't provide psx buttons.

probably the interpolated cam.lgp is not used in the right way.
let me know if other fmv have this issue ^^

i'll try to install 7h the test the iro this weekend

i tested the AIO steam pack and not issue about it

Just remove the gameover files from the "\SYWV5\disc" folder (e_over_xxxx files) and you'll get back the original gameover screen (unfiltered)

But as i said in my pack's topic, you want to mod more, use 7h, my pack is an AIO for easy modding steam game for casual user, not for advanced modding.
You could also (should work):
1)install vanilla steam ff7
2)install my pack
3)setup my pack
4)download and install FFNx steam's version (just don't overwrite the "shader" folder and "FFNx.toml" file)
5)install NT mod
6)Launch game from steam only without using my launcher

By the way you also need to copie the ending2 and jenova_e movies files from "\data\movies" to the "\data\lang-en\movies" or you'll miss them while playing game

Out of curiosity, does this mean Steam achievements etc won't work?
No.
Steam achivement would requiere a steam achivement hack.
By the way to avoid all the steam "bug about random delete savegame", i'm now using the 1998 exe to lauch ff7, so no way to get steam achievement.

My mod also need admin when you launch it.
As said this mod pack is to be AIO
If you want to mod further, use 7h ^^

You could try to folowing
-rename ff7.e.exe to ff7.exe
-install nt mod
-rename ff7.exe to ff7.e.exe

not sur if it'll work but you can try ^^'

5.30 is released (please install this version !, it's 1998 exe based to avoid steam/save bugs)

It's not an update you can do, it's a full release.
The main change is that version use 1998 .exe to launch the game instead of the steam's ones.
So no more save delete bug is possible (finally).
The game will also launch faster as it don't need to launch steam first.
The very first time you launch the game it can take some time to launch because it'll need to copy some file.

@all the one who have save self delete bug:
It seems to be related to some steam bad interaction.
I'll release a full pack again in a few hours witch will use 98's exes to avoid this bug (steam version will be requiered anyway as usual)
(it won't impact steam version, you'll can alway launch ff7 unmoded with steam or modded ff7 syw but they won't share save anymore)

if you launch the syw after deleted savefile, do you have them restored ?
have you chacked that a backup of your save exists in "\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\Backupsaves"

if you have some time contact me on discord for real time tests, as i can't reproduice your bug (satsuki_yatoshi#3370)

version 5.26 or less use older ffnx witch have this type of bug.

... My save doesn't delete when I quit the game, but when I launch it with the SYWV5controlPanel....

Because i have no impact on those file, so it seems that the steam ff7's launcher delete the save (witch can be related to a bad save metadata).
If you quit ff7 with atl+f4 or kill it, it can do a bad/missing metadata, so the next time ff7 steam launcher will be open it'll delete the save

Steam AIO 5.28 available:
-Solved a potential colision bug.
-Added an option to auto disable saves in cloud (avoid random delete of save files).
-Added an option to auto backup save file each time the game is launched (with auto-restore if save have been deleted).


As some people have random bug with steam save witch self deleting (witch i wasn't able to reproduice), i added an option ("on" by default) witch backup all the saves each time you launch the SYW control pannel.
If you get a save lost, you just need to lauch SYW control pannel again and a message will ask you if you want to auto-restore the lastest saves.
All the backuped saves will also percist in a subfolder "..\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\Backupsaves" with one subfolder for each save, so you can also revert back to another date save manualy if something went wrong.

I can't reproduce this delete save bug.
As it can be related to cloud save, i'll add an option to disable cloud save by default.
I'll also add an auto backup of the save each time you launch FF7 SYW, so you could always restore them if a bug delete them.

I can't reproduise this bug at all.
Could you tell me:
-Witch FF7 language you use
-Have you only one steam profile on the computer or more
-Witch options of the pack do you use (screenshot of the pack pannel)
-Before the lost of your save, how do you quit the game (game menu, alt+f4, close the windows with the upper right cross...)
-Do you have a crash ingame before the save lost
-Have you edited the savegmae in any way with a save editor
-Do you use reunion or any other mod of any sort too

those pxxxx movie is file related to a french parodic mod, a forget to remove them before the release, don't worry it as no impact at all on ending movie ^^
