Hello everyone!



Final Fantasy VII is regarded as one of the greatest RPGs and one of the best video games of all time. Many who played the game in the 1990s wished for a scenario where they could save certain characters or alter the course of the story. While some fans insist the narrative should remain exactly as it was originally written, others have long sought a different outcome. I am offering this patch for those who wish that Aerith, one of the story’s most pivotal characters, had survived.

-Saving Aerith
  Saving Aerith Significant effort has been invested in presenting this event in a way that truly engages the player, making the experience feel as though it were part of the original game. Aerith participates in a brief phase during the second disc in Icicle Inn (Snow Village) after Cloud is punched by Elena. By placing Aerith in your party before starting the ski event, she will subsequently leave the party, allowing the game to proceed. While she does not participate in the primary storyline thereafter, the mod modifies her dialogues to reflect her memories before the party reaches the Northern Cave. Aerith officially rejoins the team on the third disc, though she remains unavailable for the final Northern Cave sequence. A patch is included.

- Playing with Sephiroth?!
On the third disc, upon entering the town of Nibelheim, head to the second floor of the inn. There you will find Sephiroth appearing as one of his wandering clones. You may utilize his supernatural powers on the condition that Vincent never joins your group. Please note that Sephiroth cannot be used during the final sequence in the Northern Cave.

- Cloud’s mother: A new meeting with Cloud’s mother on the third disc.

- Mideel: The ability to visit the undestroyed town of Mideel on the third disc by speaking with one of the NPCs downtown.

– Honey Bee Inn: The Honey Bee Inn has reopened with new additions at the entrance.

- Wall Market Challenges: Added challenges in Wall Market involving Aniki, available on all discs.

- Sector 7 Slums: The possibility of visiting the Sector 7 slums.

- Gold Saucer: Retain the ability to ride the Gondola (moving cart) with any team member on the third disc.

- Theatrical Show: It is now possible to participate in the theatrical show at the Gold Saucer by speaking with the man at the entrance on the third disc.

- Costa del Sol: The ability to play football (soccer) again in Costa del Sol.

- Marlene: Additional dialogue options with Marlene in the Sector 7 slums on the third disc.

- Chocobo Dance: Watch the Chocobo dance at any time on the third disc.
- Improved Aerith event in the Forgotten Capital.

Enhanced cinematic movie for saving Aerith.

- The freezing issue that occurred during the Red XIII ultimate weapon side quest when Aerith was in the active party has been resolved.

- Enhanced the Main Menu screen.

– Improved the character portraits for Tifa.

– Enhanced the Main Menu screen.

Added various stability improvements that do not affect game balance.

I really like the idea to keep Aeris alive like on New Threat. Any plans to apply these ideas on the Steam version?

First of all, thank you, I´ll keep this version in my personal files. I hope you continue working on this.

I have some suggestions:

- Provide at least one Triple growth armor.
- I suggest to add Elmyra next to Aeris on Disc 2, in the same place.
- I suggest to increase the AP of Proud clod in the gym, I know that It is a lot, but level Up Knights of the Round is still a nightmare.
- About Claudia, I like the idea, but I suggest to receive something from her.
- Add the current version of the game in the screen (Continue?/New Game).

Thank you again, I´ll wait some time and others updates to play it again.

Regarding the suggestions, I will try to take them into consideration if I am able to add these changes without technical problems.
I am currently working on a new patch that includes the perks available in the survivor patch with new impactful additions, but the patch will have a different name. I will announce it as soon as I finish it.
