If you look on the right-hand wall, it says "YUNA LIVE" in that blitzball-type writing. Maybe Yuna has her own chat show? :P

Y'know, I really don't see how it could say "YUNA LIVE", because the font/text is all screwed up. I guess one letter looks like "L", but that's it.

When I first told my friend about final fantasy, he thought it was some sort of porno game. Is that what square is turning it into?

It says "YUNA Live".  Using the Spiran alphabet.  It's on the left wall too, but harder to see.

Ahh..okay. For some reason I thought it was written in English, ah well. By "Yuna Live" I sure hope they mean that she lives and is in fine health. I hope that they DON'T mean that they're doing live photo (porn) shoots of her..

Still a mysterious poster, though. I wonder who those mysterious people are in the background.. Her agents? One of em looks like he/she could be a candidate for using a sword-type similar to Cloud's.

Well, this game looks somewhat cool, just by looking at the poster. However, I'm not placing the "coolness" factor on Yuna. A regurgitated character like that shouldn't have those sweet guns. Since I haven't played or heard much of FFX yet, my expectations are pretty much blank. I hope this one isn't just an eye candy, like FF8 was. Yeah, I'll admit FF8 had a great battle system, but it seems like the amount of effort put into the scenery was greater than the effort put into the story. But that's just my opinion.

On the other hand, I doubt I'll be purchasing a PS2 anytime soon. But that doesn't mean I won't ever play the ps2 FF's. And I don't think I'm gonna be a sucker to the "upcoming" ps2 emulation community. I'd rather make my own emulator than beg for a fix on a certain plug-in  :P

The game actually doesn't look too bad, even if it is practically a porno game (not that i have a problem with that ;)).

Here are some sites you may wanna check out.

The official website is:
http://www.playonline.com/ffx2/ (Japanese)
and here are some fansites:
http://www.ffx2.com/ (English)
http://web.gamemp3.com/ffx2online/ (English)
also, for lots of speculation and rumours:
http://s2.cgi.gamefaqs.com/boards/gentopic.asp?board=34661 (English)

And I expect that the full info on Paine should be available on December 25th on the official website.
Seeing as Yuna's info was available on October 25th, Rikku's on November 25th then logically Paine's on December 25th. And if I'm wrong, you can string me up and beat me with a stick like a Pinata.

Hint: The proper romanization of Rikku's original Japanese name is 'Ryukku'
