I just installed the ultima edition and i can't get the game to play past the first cutscene it just crashes, anyone know how to fix this?

this forum does not help with cracked,pirated,or ultima editions of the game

If you use Ultima Edition you have to get it working on your own, which is possible, but yeah- we're not going to help you

You should look at the sticky's before posting. One of them CLEARLY says "Pirated games, downloaded games, Ultima editions." And in this thread they tell you we don't help with your Ultima edition. If you're going to pirate, you should try harder to not get caught. As I'm pretty much positive there is no legal release of any such "Ultima edition" that would mean you downloaded it...

I don't think it's the seifer we know and love, he knows damn well we don't support Ultima Edition, and frankly he's smart enough to troll better than this. I suspect this is just another guy who likes the character.

Game don't sell pirate games, the only way to get the "Ultima Edition" is to pirate it.

If you bought it from Game, I suggest that you sue them for selling you an illegal knock-off. The Ultima edition is a pirate edition. Square never released anything called the Ultima edition.

Of course, you won't be suing Game because we all know that you downloaded the game or (maybe) got a cheap copy on CD-Rs from a friend or some dodgy seller on eBay.

Lies, there is no such thing as a legal copy of Ultima Edition FF7. I'm not buying the idea that you bought this anywhere, because it would be pretty hard to realize this ISN'T a legal copy of the game. So you're either really really stupid, or you pirated it.

He pirated it and was stupid enough to not do any research before posting this and to believe that we'd buy the story about getting it from Game, a big-name retailer that is unlikely to be selling illegal knock-offs.

I had to find one after my original copy broke =(

Luckily, I have since found another legal copy.... and then I got a netbook
