is it possible that an emulator will work? i have several psx but i just dont feel like rummaging through all my stuff to dust it off.

Troubleshooting / Sephiroth patch

I actually need help with the sephiroth patch, i downloaded it and read the readme. however when i click on the TOOLS.EXE i get a message saying "this app cant run on your pc, to find a version compatible check with the software publisher." i am running windows 10 if that helps.

I was on final fantasy 7 citadel site where i downloaded there sephiroth patch and i received that pop up. i was directed to this forum and was hoping someone can help. I am new to modding games and would like a beginners help if anyone is willing to help me out.
i have modded skyrim and dragon age origins but thats all my modding experience takes me.

i was wondering as i just downloaded your mod and am new to modding, how do i get it to work on my physical console? and do i need to use a PSX? or can my ps3 work just fine?
do put the psx cd into the computer and mess with the files on that? or what. please help me out.
