If you have a ps3/ps4 controller just download scptoolkit to emulate the xbox 360 driver, you can edit the buttons inside the game itself or use tonberry with just the original graphic textures. So use deling to find the menu textures scale the image x4 then cut and paste the appropriate textures over the existing textures.

The pc version is definitely broken and not as smooth as the ps1 version at the intentional slowed down parts regardless if you have an i7 or not, but that amount of delay suggests either ram issues from using tonberry, or weak cpu.

Have you tried extracting the ps1 textures and seeing if they have the same values, if they do its a programming/engine issue, if they don't its a texture issue. The blue thing happens during gf/character animations as well. The fix itself is simple just finding all the files is the long part.

Even comparing it to just using waifu with no noise filter, its leaps and bounds better. no contest there, shame its behind a paywall.

EDIT: Although I just used the x4 upscale and the results vary depending on the image.

Thats cool Maki, the beginning ones look like unused death animations, (reminds me of the comm tower boss), the one at 2:20 could have been used for the 1st BGH251F2 fight as it blows up but they decided to take it out, the one at 3:20 reminds me of Ultimecia junctioning herself onto Griever, 4:55 could have been another of Zells limit breaks finishers.  5:13 seems like Gilgamesh as he enters the battle. 5:24 and 5:39 could be unused moves for X-ATM092. Overall really interesting finds.

Well the cutscene before shows the Garden to the left of the weapon shop steering leftish, you could assume it went clockwise around the town (I remember them saying no casualties) the first water area would be to the left of the harbor, or it could have went in a circle and ended up south east area of the train tracks. Hard to tell, I wonder if the devs just made up whatever they wanted. If I had to choose between your two choices I would choose cat walks since the road extensions are not there in the field file.

For the pier is that made up or are you talking about the rows of boats from the cutscene of balamb garden going out of control and ending up in the water. Regarding the opera building at the end of the harbor, are you sure that's not a boat where the gap is and beyond that there's another Island with the opera building on it. If you want to put the area with all the small boats down I'd put it to the right side of the harbor area. Anyway good job so far.

Right I exported/imported the original low res textures to get the tile format texture then upscaled them. Cause if I export then upscale them, they look fine, but when I import using Pupu it causes banding and looks completely different from the textures I had before. Only upside if there is no tile seams. I just want to know why this happens and if it can be fixed.
