right after you beat vegnagun (dunno if you do it twice, but this would be first), you know the cinematic of the three leaders giving the speech? it freezes right when it gets to that aprt (chapter 6 i think)

i have it on PS2 and no mods or anything, and the disc is still new (havent taken out of machine since gotten in for christmas)

any ideas?

Take the game to your local WalMart.. Tell them that you bought it there and need to exchange it because the disc stops working at a certain part.. I doubt they will care you dont have a receipt since you want just an exchange.. Kmart would probably do that same thing too.. If they try to say they cant just start raising a little hell they will hook you up... ^_^ I havent played FFX-2 and probably never will.. Oh well.. Good luck ..

This isn't the first time i've heard of FFX-2 not working. From what i heard they used a slightly different way of pressing that DVD so some PS2s are not able to read the data correctly.

I'll bet the European release will be bug free and with extras, like usual. As much as I revel in this, it's kinda unfair to the owners of the other releases. I loved the Dark Aeons; a real reason to get your luck at 255

Well if its your ps2 thats causing problems do the same thing.. Go to K-mart buy a ps2 and put your old one in the box and take it back.. It worked for me.. Yeah they scan the serial numbers but they dont on return.. if they do it didnt seem to matter.. I worked there when i did this for my little brother.. We had just bought it like 2 christmases ago and it couldnt read the blue back discs anymore.. this solved the problem.. If your ps2 is beaten all to hell though it wont work.. (you cant make it obvious..)

i have no idea where a k-mart is near my house, i got my stuf from fry's lol(anyone actually gonan help me lol)
