Download seems to be broken, gets to 100% then stops without actually finishing citing the connection to the severs has been reset, any chance of a re-upload or a Mediafire/RapidShare/somewhere else upload?

I've been toying around with Hyne tonight, and it really is magnificent. I have a couple suggestions, though :

- in the cards tab, you can check the boxes in front of the characters' cards (like Squall card, Laguna card, etc), but it doesn't give you one in-game. Is there any way to add a character card to one's inventory, without having to find the person holding it and win a card game from him/her ?

- also, if you want to get all cards or all items, it can be a pain to check all the boxes and type 100 next to each one. Would it be possible to add two buttons : one to get one of each item / card, and another to get 100 of each item / card ?

Aside from those two points, this utility is perfect IMO !  :D

After you check the box, you have to look right of the name, select 'Squall' from the drop down box and then it will be in your inventory!

Yeah, I already thought of that, I'll see what I can do.

Thanks, and sorry for the function/variables/comments in French ;D.

I was wondering if there was anyway to change the names of the other characters in the game (Quistis, Zell, Irvine, or anybody other then Squall and Rinoa for that matter) I feel as though if i could get my hands on the source code for FF8 it would be quite simple, The fact that you cannot change the names tells me its not a variable, its a constant and therefore, it should just be a matter of finding where the constant is ( 'cstr_char3' or 'cstr_zell' for example) which should be quite easy, as you should declare all constants in the beginning of your code. That leads me to believe it would be as simple as changing what that constant is set to, correct?

Now i have a running theory, if anyone can confirm or deny that would be great, but I am going to test it late on tonight. I am curious as to whether or not when you change the drop down box next to the character or GF card, if it changes who you win the card from..? For example, Edea has her own card, but she is near impossible to beat at times because she is a great card player, and also has all those rules. Now if you check the Edea card box, and you click the drop down box and select anything but Squall or Edea's House, lets say i choose, B-Garden Headmasters office. Then would somebody in the Cid's office then have procession of the card? Or would you still have to go win the card from Edea?

I do have a question, I understand that when you put it into advanced mode i believe you called it? Well there are a lot of unexplained things, and that is fine. But this doesnt say unknown.. If you go to character, and you go to edit Squall. Click the limit break tab. And next to Renzokuken indicator, there is a selection slider, from 0-127.. What exactly does that do? Does it edit the frequency a certain ending shows up, or, actually I have no idea. So if you know, please tell me. If not I get that its impossible for everything not to be as perfect as your coding is =]

EDIT: I apologizes. It isnt only in the advanced mode, its always there.

Hi. This looks like a nifty program and I've been trying to use it but when I do I get the message

"VMP Format is protected, save will be partial and will not work."

and after I save it and try to play it on my PSP, the save file is gone. What should I do?

Normally, there is no way to modify a PS1 save from the PSP. But it seems possible with a cracked PSP.

My PSP is hacked. I got the ISO off pspiso.com
I think the PSP save I got was PSN, because all 4 discs are within the game.
