i have a feeling i don't want them to remake it.
FF7 is FF7. I'm afraid they will change it too much and it won't be FF7 (yeah wrap your brain around that, you know what i mean)
if they do it and it sucks i will pretend it does'nt exist and continue indulge myself in the creations of the Qhimm community.

Agreed. It's a miracle how things can change when moving onto new platform.  I'll be fine with good 'ol version.

When i installed true motion, i couldn't even start my game.

Wow. Teach me that. It's like saying "I installed that new PC game and now my TV isn't working!".

Either you didn't actually install the TM2.0 codec (corrupted download?) or there was something else you installed.

Propably it's because of the "Ultima Edition".

Nope, you own a license, and you can sell it. You cannot however reproduce it (the content). Hey, why don't you just go and read something about EULAs instead of trying to bent my arguments?

Oki, so who owns my FF7?

Accidentally put in a hint? Thanks. I hope that you won't copy and sell "your FF7" (it's your right? so why it's called piracy?).

The answer is: it's not "your FF7". You own the CDs, but not the data that are on them. You can't become an owner of software by bying a user license (which you got bying FF7). If you want it to be your FF7, buy the full license from Eidos/Square/Whoeverelse, I'm sure you can afford it.

Oh, and how is that connected with the 9999LB patch?

No clue.

I have installed it onto my computer, it's a copy of the fix that is in my computer, i own a legal copy of it. I own FF7 <- it's mine. I downloaded a copy of the choco patch(lol) so it's MINE.

That's not how it works. Just because you have it, doesn't mean it's yours. And yes, it's compatible with chocobo  fix.

I challenged Odin on CD4 and i was sure that he would cut me to pieces or something like that, i called "Counter-Rockets" so i would get triple --> protect/shell to everybody+meltdown to Odin, i just hitted him with physical attacks+few times with GF's and i won, he didn't hit me even ONCE, bug or something? Slow? Cool anyway.

BTW: SUCKS that you can't enter towns or gardens when on CD 4, does CD 4 only stand for fighting Ultimecia?

And, sorry for my bad english.

Oh, I forgot to say what happened.

I see you were playing during the Ragnarok movie, so Squall just get to Ragnarok with Rinoa and there is a savepoint, he doesn't say anything until you pass the door in Ragnarok

Yet more generic advice from Midgar:
I think that you may have recieved a corrupt install or something. You mentioned patches but you did not mention which ones, telling us would be helpful. Did you install the true motion codac? I think if you install it you should be fine. At least I think it was a movie... Use the YAMP version of GYSP. Another thing to do is to scan for viruses. Ad-Aware, and AVG are two that I would suggest. If that doesn't help, you could just reinstall the whole game. Did the game ever run perfectly before? What version are you using (describe the CD art or something if you don't know)?
Perhaps Ultima?

Then try to use D3D mode just for a moment and see the results, if it goes well then just turn back to Software Renderer.

I tried, didn't work...

Here's the save file, can you play it for me? And possibly tell what happened during those videos and till you managed to get to savepoint? Thanks.

Did you try to set the graphic mode to 'Software Renderer' or 'D3D'?

Software Renderer, because if i set graphic mode to D3D i get alot of texture glitches.

Arghhh....

At that point of the game i get an error: FF8.exe has encountered an error bla bla bla, i tried to set my resolution to 320xsomething, but it's no use, i also tried to set video quality to low, but.. no use.

Comp:

Amd Athlon 3200+
1024DDR Ram
GeForce6200AX 256MB
DirectX 9.0C
Newest drivers from nvidia.com


I tried with 1.2 patch/GeForce patch, but no use.


Someone said something about downgrading DirectX, would that really help? Should i roll back with my drivers? Help?

yes i think its true too Greats Gospel are one of the greatest limit(and would be a great bonus versus Emerald Weapon because with that we are invincible and the others can do their limit break


i like aeris but the game will be too much easy if aeris is resurrect or have never die.......... its been a long time i understand why she have to die. She is the second greatest character(in term of limit breaks)but shes not my favorite character. me its Sephiroth

and sorry to all the aeris lovers but she have to die
