Yeah, I'm also fine with sending support your way Percival, if you ever decide to improve upon Succession in the future again! :)
This is the best story mod available. I can definitely see the potential. lol

I love this mod, and I always appreciate the support from all of you, but yes, lots of real life, unfortunately. Also I have largely moved on to my next writing project, and I am trying to devote my free time to that.
Also, my CPU finally died, and I lost most of the next update I was planning on posting. It wasn't large, mainly small typo fixes. And I lost my small progress on the Remaster. Not the end of the world, but still sad.
Noooooo, sad times indeed. :(
Well... I still have some hope left! I won't give up on you just yet. lol

Also, will this be compatible with other mods?! Like Ragnarok (gameplay) and Lunatic Pandora (graphics)?

This might go down as the REAL remaster for the storyline itself. A reimagining. Maybe what it should have been to begin with. :D
It might be an alternative to the original storyline, but i feel like this version has so much more beef to it. More side-lore to enjoy as well!
You ever thought about adding hidden/secret/easter egg stuff in it? :P

Hopefully the community can help you with typo's, feedback, or any other small tweaks after version 1.0 releases! Try to take some of the weight off of your shoulders after completing such a huge task/accomplishment. :)

GO GO GO! lol :)

It'd be cool if weak magic was easier/faster to draw, but for strong magic it's harder/slower to draw.
I think that'd be a nice balance.
Essentially taking more time and effort if you want the best magic in-game.
But that's just my personal preference.

Maybe create a magic tier system, where at the lowest magic level you can draw up to a max of 100, and as you go up the tier list you can only draw a certain amount. Example, for top tier magic you can only draw up to 9 or less at a time.
Maybe even lowering the chances of getting a high draw number as you go up the tier list?
This would make the earlier parts of the game quicker and less frustrating/boring, while keeping the later parts of the game more rewarding to achieve.
Capping everything at max 9 draw or at max 100 draw for ALL magic still have their own positives and "negatives".

Doing it the way i've mentioned up above would be a very nice middle ground. Taking the positives from both sides and putting them together.
Has anyone ever thought of this as well?
I feel this idea could of been overlooked. Or would it be hard to implement?! Idk lol :P

Hopefully it can come to fruition someday. I REALLY love this idea.
Even if it's just for the hard mode version or as an optional mod, i'll take anything.

Hope all is well, friend. :)

I could also see a hard mode being something that viewers would enjoy watching on Twitch... Nothing like watching people get rekt. :) lmao

There's many ways of being able to make a much harder version for the Ragnarok mod. I'm all for a hard difficulty!
You could call it the "Griever" mode, simply made for those who want to suffer lol.
I'd definitely play it. :)

Enemies and especially bosses could have new attack patterns (extra random), have more hp, deal more damage, and maybe throw in some special attacks that aren't in the normal version. Things that would make players go "WTF, i didn't see that coming" while having their asses handed to them lol! You could even add special super bosses just for the "Griever" mode alone. And if all of that wasn't enough, you could nerf certain things on the players side to make sure you can never be a bit too strong, only strong enough to have a chance of winning.

So the decisions you make all lean toward nothing but making the game a challenge. This would give you more leverage for the normal version, of not having to worry if you're making things too easy even if it's for the sake of balancing the game. :D Because then players will have that alternative choice to satisfy their masochistic itch.

Also, maybe you could add rewards for those who defeat specific bosses? A way to show off your accomplishments lol.

Can't wait for the next update! Exciting AF! :-D

You're doing gods work, Callisto. lol
Btw, could you give examples as to what exe changes weren't able to make it into the Remaster version at the moment? Just curious. :)
Can't wait for the next updates to arrive! I feel like a kid during Christmas every time you pop up in the forums. :-D

I love the idea of adding new side quests, items, attacks/spells, secrets, and challenges. Unique tough bosses for example... It's like putting extra icing on the cake lol.
More things to enjoy in-game.

How's the gameplay mod coming along? :)

It's possible. Once Rinoa's FMV mod is being worked on, i'm sure they can make her cleavage more "visible" lol. ;)
But for uncensoring Siren, it might not be possible. Because it overlaps the textures, meaning her private area is essentially drawn over... Deleted i think. :(

Well, if you want high quality mods that are constantly being updated, then i see no problem with making it a support situation. Especially when it takes a lot of effort and a long time to work on things. It's either have a full-time job on top of other irl situations that don't give you much free time to work on such mods, or have a part-time/no job and be able to put out high quality mods more frequently. If you want things early, such as all of the finished mods, then help support. :)
But, after all the mods are completed and a decent amount of time has went by, then i personally feel it's okay to open it up with a free option to the public.
For now, support is needed as things are being worked on still. :D
A pre-made package will be created for a much easier setup, while having a "pretty cheap" fee to access and download. A simpler alternative, with not as much effort required. The Lunatic Pandora mod pack.
And for the free option, you'll have to download each mod separately while setting it all up by yourself, like how it was done before.
