Nobody can stop you from ripping the track from YouTube, but consider purchasing it off loudr, its only 5 bucks and you'll be helping him out.  Plus you can purchase it in lossless quality which is a mega plus for freaks like me :D
Of course, I want to record it in CD quality man. Anything can be compared with a FLAC :D

Man this is pretty awesome. I'll record in a CD for my car if I may.

Thanks Covarr,

What happens here is that we have 2 launchers, plus FF8_ES.exe. In short:

FF8_ES.exe
FF8_Launcher.exe
FF8_Launch2.exe

No matter which one you open, it will always show the launcher (where you chose play, options, chocoboworld etc), and won't load dlls. I tried everyone of them in File= line. I'm running out of ideas, I think I tried everything.

Sorry for my late reply, I was with the finals! Now I'm free!! :D

My current settings.ini is that one

Code: [Select]
[HextLaunch]
File=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\FINAL FANTASY VIII\FF8_ES.exe
Process=FF8_ES.exe
Window=
LoadHext=0
InjectDLL=1
NoInput=1
Delay=1000

I tried by changing LoadHext from 0 to 1 without success. Also tried by putting "Final Fantasy VIII" in Window= line. Tried to running it from game's directory or in another one. No success either. Oh, and tried by using absolute and relative paths to the exe, but as you'll imagine, didn't work.
I know I'm doing something wrong but I don't see what is it. I read the readme.rtf and I think I'm doing everything as described...

And, the complete log is that one:

Code: [Select]
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\FINAL FANTASY VIII\FF8_ES.exe opened successfully.
Succeeded in loading by Process Name.

Error: Damage.dll was not loaded.
Error: HP.dll was not loaded.

Did you make that dlls with steam version and new DPLB's tools? I tried to make HextLaunch to work but it didn't. I mean, the game played well, but the dll's wasn't loaded. And the only info the log threw is:
Code: [Select]
Error: Damage.dll was not loaded.
Error: HP.dll was not loaded.

I didn't use Hext instruction lists and the file I'm loading with HextLaunch is FF8_ES.exe. Maybe it's not the correct one.

@JeMaCheHi

Look at Tornberry's thread for ideas on how to avoid some of your problems.

Didn't found anything in Tonberry's thread... Maybe I'm idiot xD

However, achievments crashes stopped when I loaded the game using the new DPLB's HextLauncher. Weird? Well, I wanted to tell you guys, maybe I give you some idea...

EDIT: Ok, I'm stupid, the game didn't crashed because the game didn't actually connect to the internet with the Hext Launcher u.u

Man this is a pretty awesome mod. Those SE are a shameless people, re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-release a game and make THAT sh**... This makes it look like it should have been from the beginning and I love it!

Just bought Steam version and I'm trying it, but it crashes every time I get an achievement. And man, at begining of the game you get achievements constantly.

I have this weird error too in the loading screen for a few seconds, then it fixes itself:

It crashes when I make a screenshot too ( actually, it crashed when I did that screenshot xD) I know this is caused by Tonberry or Project Eden because It's the only mod I have, and screenshots worked without them ( I made a few before installing them for comparing the difference ).

And, as you can see, I'm using the spanish version.

Greets!

Sure, and sorry for the late reply. I've been busy with the final physics exams. However, I'm not pretty sure about what should I do with it...

@JeMaCheHi - LostWing and Revisited are different.  My youtube videos illustrate some of the differences, and if you read the threads for each mod you will be able to get a better idea about how they are different. Also, only a short demo is available for Revisited right now, but I was considering releasing the updated version that I have.  Unfortunately, I don't think that the PSP conversion will work properly.  Others have tried unsuccessfully to convert my mod for use on PSP, and it is very flattering, but don't get your hopes up.  Good luck.

I've tried it... unsuccesfully u.u It freezes when you're fighting, or when you open certain menu sections, i.e. Items or Equip. Tried with several versions of POPS so I think that's not the problem, or at least, all the problem. Have you got any suggestions about it?

Don't you think that playing those mode everywhere would be amazing..? :)

Hi there LostWing! As I told you, I'm here (I commented you on youtube remember?) I've been taking a look on mods, and I see you have 2 FF7 mods: Lost Wing and FF7 Revisited. Are those 2 mods the same, or just different ones?

Also, I want to know which PSX version is working with your mod. My purpose is to adapt it to PSP by converting the PSX modded version throug POPSconverter or similar. Thanks :)
