I am using the suggested mods from the "Must Install Mods" sticky(I did add the gameplay tweaks but that was after I already experienced all of this, so I don't think it is the issue) and also I have everything else shutdown while playing, no browser open. Almost all battle sequences are really slowed down and even run on the field screen is like walk in the non-modded game. Occasionally, you will get a burst of normal battle animations or running but it is short lived.
I died twice during the opening bombing run and that was using escape on all battles. Finally, on third try, got out the door with 1 second remaining. Other than being a bit annoying for the battles to take so long, I do not look forward to other timed events or even thing like the sector 5 door release, which was always annoying in normal speed.
I love using these mods but it is making it nigh on unplayable right now and was hoping one of you gurus out there might have a simple fix for me.
Title: Re: Using the Must Install Mods suggested mods and battle plus movement is real slow

Hey there, there must be a solution.
First of all send us a screenshot of 7H Game Driver Settings Secondly, try to turn off SYWU fields and see if the slowdown is still there. Third option, try to turn off advanced light in game driver settings and see if the slowdown is still there. Last but not least try to turn off mod one by one and see which one could cause the issue.
Let us know.

No worries! Even newer laptops can struggle with demanding games or mods. While I can't see the screenshot, here are some troubleshooting tips:
Reduce Mod Load: Try disabling some mods, especially graphics-intensive ones. Start with recently added mods. Adjust Mod Settings: Some mods may have adjustable settings to reduce their impact. Look for options like "low-spec mode." Lower Game Graphics: In-game graphics settings can significantly affect performance. Try reducing resolution, textures, and other visual effects. Check for Driver Updates: Ensure you have the latest graphics drivers installed for optimal performance. Monitor Resource Usage: Use Task Manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor (Mac) to see if CPU, RAM, or GPU usage is maxed out. Target the bottleneck resource with adjustments. If these don't help, consider searching online forums or the mod community for specific fixes related to your mods and performance issues.
