I've been reading many forums talking about Quina's sexuality and most of them said Quina's a female since Quina likes to cook, she's colored pink and she can be married to Vivi who's a male. Some suggests she's both sex and is mutated or something. But when I look at him/her when I first played the game she looks like a male to me. I just thought he/she was a girl when I find out about his/her name which is Quina which sounds like a Queen. ;D

The point of this gender-non-specificity is that the Qus are so different from anything anyone in the party have seen before they're not really sure. The Qus probably have little understanding of the concept of gender anyway so they don't say. Quina is most likely a female since Quina can wear female-exclusive stuff and none of the male-exclusive stuff. That or they needed a fourth character to round out the female/male differences.

So does that means men Qu's have no difference over women Qu's? How do they reproduce and be attracted to the other if they all look the same. Hmm..

It specifically states in the game that Qu's are all non-gender specific. They are all the same.

as far as i know, she's considered a girl as far as game mechanics go, i recall gamesharking zidane to lvl 99, from the beginning. Vivi and Steiner started at the regular lvl 1, whilst all teh female characters, including quina, started with a level closer to 80 (some kind of an averaging calculation, which encompasses zidane's lvl i figure).

It may be that way but.. She just looks the same as the male so that's why I'm confused. Even Zidane uses him/her in his sentences when talking about Quina. Guess even the main character doesn't know. :-\

of course Zidane doesn't know lol, he wasn't even sure of what the hell HE was for a long time.
