Title: Laptop key patch issue.

I did a search for this but didn't find an answer. I've noticed when I hold the run button while trying to either move up-left or down-right, it doesn't allow me to. It just goes up or down. But if I do so without holding the run button it works fine. Anyone encounter this problem before?

Here's a story about keyboard matrices. The short version is, your keyboard won't accept more than a certain number of keys from a certain part of the keyboard at once. Exactly which keys can be used varies from keyboard to keyboard, so different people will have different issues with different games and key setups, but the underlying problem is fairly common.

Solution? Reassign your keys, or get a new keyboard and hope it doesn't have that problem.

go to best buy and drop $20 on a PSX style gamepad. Problem solved.
