I must ask. After searching around the forums and such, I've seen you've had troubles with this Hermoor guy. But what exactly did he do that caused so much drama? I mean, pulling the Drama Tag didn't bring about this much.

Most of his posts have been deleted, so it's hard for newbies to see just how much of an arse he was, but take it from his main antagonist: he was an arse of Kimmo Alm proportions. You're unlikely to see anyone being as much of a failtroll as Hermoor.
Hermoor had trollish tendencies from the beginning, although no-one thought much of it; his true nature was only seen an a FFX thread when I started arguing with him about why FF7 is popular. He contended that it was only popular to "emos" and "goths" because they wanted to be "cool", showing a lack of knowledge of what any of those words mean. His reason for this was that there are a lot of dark colours in FF7; anything with dark colours only appeals to emos, apparently. I showed him evidence there is much un-emo colouring in the game as well, in places like the Honeybee Inn, Costa del Sol and the Gold Saucer, but he accused me of photoshopping the pictures. He also seems to base his opinions of FF7 on Advent Children and Crisis Core, and said that he couldn't see the difference between a CC screenshot and a FF7 one. I pointed out that, by his logic, all of the FF games could be seen as appealing to emos, but he refused to accept it, instead relying on personal insults. Of course, since these forums are full of FF fans, he soon ended up insulting everyone, turning himself into the ultimate failtroll. He had particularly big fllouts with me and Jari, the worst people one can fall out with in these forums, as long term members will know.
He, of course, lost the argument badly, and became incredibly butthurt over the loss, turning every thread into a battleground, starting all of the fights (every shitthread was turned into one by him), and railing against FF, emos and anime, things which he thinks are the same. Despite being so epically butthurt over losing an argument, he called everyone else fanboys who worship FF7, never conceeding that he might have been the fanboys for being so butthurt and refusing to accept the facts and logic presented to him. He eventually just started telling the whole forums that he wished all of its members were dead, that he was enlightened, that his political beliefs were superior and that Swedes are the master race (he was an incredible bigot, hating homosexuals, sex in general, the British, the Finns, the Americans and Asians).

Hermoor didn't stop at that, but, when he saw how badly he was losing, started to spam the boards with the most shocking porn he could find (which, as it happens, wasn't really that shocking). He got banned, of course, but that didn't stop him coming back every few weeks after signing up with a proxy, doing the same things he had done before.
However, earlier this year he went beyond his normal fail. At some point he had watched the Matrix and read a little Plato, and he started to see himself as a prophet who would reveal the truth to us and take us out of the cave and into the light. This "truth" would be that FF7 is for emos, apparently. He seemed to think he was a cross between Socrates and Jesus, comparing himself to the gods; he made 2000 word posts with over 300 spelling and grammar errors telling us how awful we are and how much more enlightened he is, and promised to free us from our chains. Most of his posts from this period are gone, but the lulzopedia (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=9500.0) still remains (he was going under the name Damssil at the time).

Yes, i know I post it a lot, but it gives us a window into his madness. I recommend reading the whole of his rant on our names a quarter of the way down the page; you'll be able to see just how crazy he is.

And I didn't send them to him. They came up in conversation, Hermoor found them for himself and he then accused me of sending him links, even though he had admitted to finding them for himself a few posts earlier. He still tells this lie, for some reason.

When he started trolling, there weren't any active moderators, but Jari had to be made an admin when he spammed pr0n. He got banned after that every time we got sick of him; most of us enjoyed the drama and lulz that he brought, so as long as he was still making us laugh we didn't ban him. His latest ban actually came from fellow Swede qhimm, who said he was an embarrassment to the country. ;D

Both he and she. It's a hermaphrodite. It claims to have "a Hermoor only" (just c*ck, no balls), but we all know that Hermoor is a hermaphrodite.
Age is unknown, since Hermie-kun claims to be different ages at different sites. Jari says he's probably about 16-18 based on his English vocabulary, but I think he's a little younger. He has claimed to be both 13 and 17 on this site, although that was about a year ago.

Well, I am delving deeper and deeper into this Hermoor thing, and It's funny as hell, even if his posts are gone, (i haven't even open the document yet).

If Jari ever comes back, Hermoor will probably crop up sometime after. Hermoor is probably still under the illusion that he is the reason why Jari left, and since he hated Jari even more than he hated the rest of existence, he will probably do everything in his power (EDIT: "power"? Hahaha... yeah) to keep him off these forums.
Even though it really doesn't make any kind of difference to Hermoor himself.

Jari has quite a history on these forums, I understand. Posts by "J*** H*******", "Sad Jari", and "Jari" all came from him (can't remember how many asterisks are supposed to go after the H in that first one). All of those accounts have been deactivated, so he only appears as a "Guest" now. It also seems that he has deleted all of the posts he made under his first name.
He has joined and left these forums (for reasons I do not know) three times now, having mod powers more than once. The three accounts I've listed are in chronological order.
Apparently, each time he left, he changed his account name before actually deleting the account. Before the last time he left, he was "El Ammo Bandito!" (temporarily changed his name to "El Cloudo Bandito!"). He became an Administrator under that name pretty much for the purpose of keeping Hermoor in check. But even without admin powers, he still had some sort of magical ability to trace IP addresses and find out where people lived, which kept me up at night sometimes :-o Of course, he never misused the information.
He was a good guy at heart, but he could be unforgiving, and while most of us really liked him, there are others out there who criticize the way he handled things.
*sniff* I still miss him...

Wow, i'm serious when I say you could probably turn this in to a book and actually sell it. With all this drama that's gone on, you could make a good bit of money selling the story of it online. Of course, with the majority of Hermoor's posts gone, it probably wouldn't work out very well.

I remember this. Pretty sure I started it by changing my name to Cloudvarr. Good times indeed.
Fairly certain Hermoor didn't put it in his own name, though. I think Jari changed it from Damssil to Cloudssil.

By that point Hermoor hardly had any permissions left (mainly because of his habit of editing and deleting posts when he knows he's made a fool of himself); he probably couldn't change his name :D

I just look at it like this. He's just a person, who never realized that "HURF DURF I'M SO RANDUMB" isn't funny. Now, there was a point in time where I thought it was, and I can remember a specific day, that I was actually discussing yesterday, from wherein I thought "HURF DURF I'M SO RANDUMB" was funny. I look back on that day, and realize some of it was legitimately funny random, and just stupid random. Most people haven't grown to realize the differences. This upsets me, as I figure that it's a part of growing up.

I'm almost certain that Hermoor is a timid skinny kid IRL, and wouldn't pose a threat to anyone or say in real life any of the things he says online. It's likely that the reason for his behaviour, ranting and insistence on his own intellectual superiority online is that he gets picked on in school.

Unfortunately, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold weren't picked on, in fact, they were actually quite popular and well liked. The problem was Eric Harris had depression issues, and the medication he was on can contribute to increased aggression, being a sociopath didn't help either, and Dylan Klebold, being his best friend, just kinda followed along with what he did. According to the infamous "basement tapes" their main motivation was revenge at cops for catching them breaking into a van a year earlier. I could go on and on about this (I've studied the incident WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much for a healthy human being), SO, I'm just going to take the time to shoot down some particularly persistent myths
1) Cassie Bernal was asked if she believed in god, and was then shot when she replied "yes": Official investigation, and several witnesses have stated that this exchange either had not taken place, or had not taken place with Bernal. In fact, Emily Wyant, a friend of Cassie Bernal, had been studying with her in the library when the shootings began, and said they were under the table, when Eric Harris suddenly slammed his fist on the table, then said "peek-a-boo" before shooting Cassie Bernal.
2) Eric Harris created a set of levels for DooM that had the same layout as the Columbine High School hallways:
NO NO NO NO NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This simply did. not. happen. Scans of his harddrive had none of these, nor did his website, nor did Dylan Klebold's computer, none of them had these levels. Nobody does, they simply do not exist. Now, I have played their levels, and they are nothing more than mindless violence, not even any mazes or puzzles, but they sure as sh*t weren't the columbine hallways.
3) Third shooter on the roof:
It was a janitor
4) The date chosen was April 20th, because it was Hitler's birthday:
Nope, It was originally April 19th, because Robyn Anderson, one of the people who helped them procure guns wasn't going to be present. HOWEVER, there were delays in making their bombs (most of which failed anyway), so they delayed the date by one day. Another theory states, that April 19th was both the day of the Oklahoma City bombing, and the day the fires started in Waco Texas during the siege on the Branch Davidian compound, and in their journals and videos, they stated that they wanted to outdo both of those events.
5) Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were members of the "Trenchcoat Mafia":
No. Eric Harris's father claims they were, yet both of them didn't appear in the yearbook picture, nor did they have any connections with the members. If they had no connections, nor were they in the yearbook picture... how could they have been members?
6) They loved Marylin Manson:
Nope, hated him
7) The massacre could've been prevented by more observant parents/friends/teachers/authority figures:
Nope. Just about anybody who's looked over the event can tell you, that there were no warning signs of THIS happening.
Now, all that being said, there was but ONE good thing that came from all of this. Both because of how it went down, and when it went down, it probably saved a few-hundred lives. If their plan had gone off as intended, Columbine High School would no longer exist, and (now this is the scary part), they would have tried to steal a plane, and (try to) fly it into a skyscraper (they had said that their main goal was actually the WTC if they could get to it, but any skyscraper would do). Now, had they not gone through with it when they did. Eric Harris would've probably ended up like Tim McVeigh and learned to make deadlier (and working) bombs, and blown up a major building.

Also, it doesn't surprise me at all that people have taken advantage of the Columbine massacre and spread fake stories in order to advance a political point of some kind. Wanna bash atheists? Make up a story that the Columbine kids had an anti-religion motive for their killings. Wanna bash a rock star/band? Say the Columbine kids were fans (I was already aware that the Marilyn Manson stuff was bullshit). Wanna bash video games? Say the Columbine kids were obsessed with them. It all makes sense.
There was an incident a few years ago here in Britain that led to Manhunt 2 being banned. The way the media reported it, a kid who was obsessed with the game killed his friend in a way that imitates the in-game violence, and this lead to the game being taken off the shelves and a huge debate on how video game violence influences children.
As far as I know, the one who played the game was the victim (and he shouldn't have been playing it either; in the UK, I believe that age restrictions on video games are legally enforceable). The killer was, I've heard, a paranoid schizophrenic who hallucinated and heard voices and may have been a drug addict. Of course, "psychotic teenager kills friend" doesn't sell as many copies of tabloid newspapers as "violent video game addict uses game to train for real-life murder", so it's not hard to see how the story got spread.
I might be completely wrong about this, but I'm inclined to believe the version of the story that wasn't published in the Daily Mail.

I didn't study Columbine but a classmate in basic psychology handed me a book of basically mini biographies on the thoughts of criminals. Thiefs, murderers, rapists, you name it it was probably in that book. Even a section where Marilyn Manson was telling his version of things. It was definantly a hard book to go through on the distress level. I will still never imagine being in the same mindset as these people even after reading about their point of view.

Tyr happens to be a god in Norse mythology, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Týr) which is yet even further evidence that the Tyr we got here was indeed Hermoor (Hermoor was a Norse mythology freak, like he lived for nothing else except to troll us).
However, it's very possible that the Tyr you found got his name from the same thing, but is someone other than Hermoor.

I should've been more clear. Of course the Tyr on these forums is Hermoor. I was convinced of that the minute I saw his thread offering to import a viking into the game. That was his very first post.
What I'm saying is that the name "Tyr" is not something of his original invention, so the Tyr that Mirenheart found at the Titan Quest Forums could easily be someone else, not Hermoor.
