Title: I like reading old threads!
Post by: Kudistos Megistos on 2010-07-24 03:53:29
Especially when people are discussing computer related things; it's funny to look at them and remember (or, for the youngsters, to member) that 128MB of RAM used to be a lot. And a 40GB HDD was huge. And Pentium 4 processors were blazing fast. ;D

This one (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=147.0), for example, was being read by some guest. I read a lot of these old threads after seeing guests (or spiders) reading them ::)

I was a little depressed, however, that Halkun was able to download faster in 2001 than I am now. F*cking BT and their sh*tty broadband >:(

Haha, I enjoyed reading a bit of that old Hermoor thread that you and pretty much everyone else had posted up regarding the asking of him, if that makes sense... o.o;;

Hey, I still have that Yuko Miyamura video too :)

At the ISP I worked at we had 3 OC3s looped from three different states. That was *fast* in the days of dial up.

(That's 156 Meg * 3 so 468 Meg download.)
