Title: I believe that Darkfang94 should be un-banned and allowed back into th forums

I have seen some of Darkfangs posts after searching for a solution to a problem I had with FF7. He tried solving the problem through posts but after that didn't solve the problem he went on live messenger with the guy he was helping, and they solved the problem. After seeing this, I sent Darkfang an Email asking for his help with the same problem and he said even though he was banned from the forums, he would try to help the best he can so I think that he should be allowed back into the forums.

If he would like to secretly sneak back in here and also manage to hide it from the mods and admins, he is more than welcome to.  But if he is found here he will be banned again.

Covarr, yes, Qhimm banned him.

Hoooo sh*t... Banned by Qhimm himself?? that's sr-rs business.

I wouldn't mind having him come back to the forums, there have been worse offenders than him in the past, and I mean hell, we let Seif back in, so why the hell not?

Not to mention all the bans were lifted when Ammo/Jari left, so he's probably technically not banned anymore... if his account still exists...

Yes, he was banned by the man himself after posting links to some pretty disturbing stuff (pornography, gore, etc). This was long after Jari left so the ban still stands.

Jari only lifted the bans on Mako, Seifer, and Hermoor anyway.

Darkfang was a little excessive, but I still have his transparent avatars, which were great IMO, id be for giving him another chance, he has to have learned his lesson by now...

Well he has been banned by Qhimm himself so that's going to be hard making him come back. And I did saw his posts about pornography but I saw it as his act of rebellion and got crazy.

Around here he is. Any board, admin is god/dess, king/queen, father/mother. They own your virtual soul while you are on their site. You piss them off or they're particularly psycho (yes its happened) that day then out you go.

Funny story. One admin on a roleplay forum accused me of being a hacker (his site just got hacked the day I signed up) so he banned me. Well I went back in during a busy time and made my case on the shoutbox. Hence getting on the admins wife side and she unbanned me and got him to apologize. Definantly win for a middle school kid at the time...

Back on subject though. I agree if DarkFank finds backdoor access and registers in an anonymous manner he should have a chance. So long as he doesn't start stirriing trouble again.

The original poster is not DarkFang, I am. He messaged me asking for help and I asked him to post this.

Not only was my account banned but my IP was banned as well. So in order for me to even get on these forums I'd have to go through a proxy each time. Not only that, but I released a mod on here. I wanted to edit my post so I can keep things up to date. I can't do that with a new account.

Look guys, I'm sorry. I was going through some rough times with my parents and a few deaths in the family. My parents convinced me to take some pills that might make me normal, but instead had different side effects. This is probably (not entirely sure) why I posted the things I did on here. Why am I adding this in? I'm not sure, just something to get off my chest I guess. Or maybe it's a little chance for some sympathy. It is what it is.

So anyways, I've learned my lesson and I am asking for a second chance. What do you guys think?

EDIT: Nice forums by the way. When did you guys change?

Only admins can ban people, and only admins can lift bans.  You'd have to convince Qhimm himself to let you go.  Maybe he'll be merciful, but I personally think your chances are slim.  That's why we say that you should reappear anonymously.

I believe he usually comes on really late at night. That's the only time I've ever seen him on.

Qhimm appears irregularly, but if you send him a PM, it'll be the first thing he sees when he next signs on.

You might want to delete / edit that post. A word of advice: when I was a mod, we instantly suspended anyone who gave instructions on either proxies or ban bypassing. All appeals went through us (and usually didn't succeed - we rarely needed that person, and didn't want the extra potential hassle).

Likewise, relaying posts / messages from the banned individual was an offence too.

Outright suspending the member seems a bit harsh to me, but otherwise, that sounds like a pretty good rule.
