Title: Final Fantasy VIII or The Twilight Saga
Post by: HenryLeonheart on 2010-09-17 05:31:29
Hello. (it's a silly question)

I love the love story of Squall and Rinoa in FFVIII, it really is outstanding how they could write a story that makes me smile, cry, etc, but I wished to know what is the best romance story, FFVIII or The Twilight Saga?

Bye.

Best romance? Neither. Try watching The Notebook, or Murphy's Romance, or Sleepless in Seattle. I've yet to see a game that even almost compares to any of them.

imo, that whole genre is just very cheesy and poorly done.

EDIT: I take that back, Die Hard is the best romance movie...nay, series, ever made.  The first two, anyway.  I mean, in the first one, he does nothing more than fight heavily armed robbers, to prevent them from stealing a crapton of money from his wife's place of employment...  On Christmas...  Barefoot.  The second one, he single handedly removes an infestation of terrorists from an airport, just so his wife's plane can safely land....On Christmas...  If you do not find these acts romantic, there is something wrong with you

Haven't seen any of those.
I did however like this one "P.S: I Love You."
Good romance IMO.

EDIT: Instead of this thread being "which is better" based, just change it to "What's the best romance film/game you have ever seen?"
Because I'm already doing off-topic as it is.  ::)
