Title: Black Boxes still a problem in Final Fantasy 8?

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has a fix for the "black box" problem on Final Fantasy 8. I am aware there is a topic about this, and someone did state they fixed it, so i was wondering if there is a fix program that can do this since my computer skills are not very good, except to play games. If someone has fixed it, i may install the game on my pc again. I also hope this is the correct place to post this as i already did the accident of double posting. I don't usually use boards like this, so i am very unfamiliar with these rules. As i stated, i am sorry for that. I will try not to do it again.

One other small problem i used to have on FF8:

When I beat the game after the last boss, the graphics always messed up. Im afraid it may do it again on this system, as it has similiar specs as my other system. So is there a possible fix for this problem too?

I think Aali's driver fixes the black box issue. You might want to check it ("Custom graphics driver for FF7/FF8" in the project section of the forum, download from last post) It isn't 100% perfect of course, still a work-in-progress project but definitly worth trying.
