This shouldn't be in projects.  More like feedback, or in that topics thread.  Moved.

is your world_us.lgp a clean install straight from the discs or has it been modded before? it won't modify an lgp that isn't the original i think

I got it from a friend. it was an EXE so I'm guessing its not clean, is there some other way I can get this thing installed?

or is there one just like it?

i'm not asking about the file your using to mod the game, i'm asking about one of the files the program is modding, in data somewhere is a world_us.lgp, is it the original one from the install

yes it is, have not even touched it, and even if reunion patch does mess with that file or something, I reinstalled FF7 and tried the NPC RP and it still didn't work.

Can you give us the MD5 checksum of the world_us.lgp?

We'll compare it with the known value to verify it's not corrupt.

You said you got it from a friend, you never mentioned that it was a flash drive and not a disc before.

Good luck getting help with an illegal copy.

hahahahahahaahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha....

oh man....that's funny...

read the forum rules (they're stickied everywhere). It's not gonna work until you get a legit version of FF7.

[/thread]

edit: fixed that for you

Seriously people, if you're going to take a game as your own without paying, at least make up a good lie about it.  Say you borrowed it from a friend... or maybe you found it at a garage sale.   Christ, this is sad.   Warned, locked, etc.

Oh also, nothing works right with your "acquired" .exe because it's probably been modified.
