Title: How do you edit the kernel bin file in PSX.

I have the complete the game and used Wallmarket to try to mod the game's features e.g.level,weapons and etc.It says in Wallmarket that its designed on PSX as well.I have extracted the game folders and change its kernel bin but also made an iso ,when I play it on the emulator it just would not play.Can someone help me using a step guide on how to edit the kernel bin in psx, and make it playable.
