Title: My errors and glitches-any help please?

I don't know why but these messages keep showing up each time I cast a 3rd level spell like Fire3, Earth3 etc. I'm using Aali's Custom graphics driver  [v0.7.9b] and the latest HQ overhaul with GUI v2.0.6

Things I tried:
Aali's driver  [v0.7.8b]
LQ overhaul

Some graphics card drivers refuse to compress textures of certain dimensions, if yours are already up to date there's not much you can do about that I'm afraid.

The other error is most likely due to a missing external texture, app.log should tell you which one.

My graphics driver is ATI Radeon and it is up-to-date.
Oh well, guess I have to live with it until I buy a better machine.

PS: where (and what) is the app.log , I searched the whole ff7 folder and it's not there...

well you can use disable_popup

but i think you will try solve this anyway.
