Title: help! ruby weapon does not spawn

i am using the remix patch 2.5-1

ruby weapon does not respawn in gold saucer desert even in disc 3. his red tail should be seen roaming around gold saucer desert but no matter what i do and no matter how long i wait, hes not there.


problem: no ruby weapon around gold saucer desert
when in terms of story line: already in disc3, since late disc2 ruby weapon's tail should be seen roaming around gold saucer, but
                                            im already at disc3 and there's still no ruby weapon

Have you beat the Ultima weapon yet?

even after you beat ultimate, you need to fight a certain number of random battles before ruby will spawn.

im quite sure i have enough random battles for ruby to spawn, in my previous game (other ff7 version), i was level 40 ish when i first saw ruby.


now i am level 90, still no ruby =(

"respawn"? That thing is supposed to respawn after you killed it? Seriously?
Otherwise, I've no idea what the problem is. Beating Ultima Weapon and fighting one random battle on the worldmap is all thats requiered. ( iirc, you could also enter a location and fight there )

No.  And that's not what the OP meant either.

I assumed as much but you never know around here ( Internet ).
He shouldn't say "REspawn" though, since that means exactly that. It spawns again after being killed.
