Y'know, I bet that'd be cool to see in a counter-strike mod, as a replacement for the regular knife you get.
Just think of the possiblities. :naughty:
Your skills seem pretty good. That looks almost as detailed as in the actual game, if not exact.

im making a gunblade model too, but only for rendering purposes ;)

Woah don't revive old threads like that.
-
is reviving an old thread better, or worse than making a new one, if your posting a form of update?
-
I think you should always make a new thread if the old one you're thinking about posting in hasn't been touched in almost three years.
(If I saw this in a section I moderate, I would probably split it off the old thread.)
-
ouch nearly 3 years...Thats gotta be a new record right?
On topic, Thats looking very nice mafia
-
Eh I myself dont like this policy of letting the old threads die. Why not posting into old threads, if thing is an update, and has something to say ? At least its all together at one place and not splitted at many places ...
-
plus, the argument against reviving old threads is loss of space on the forus or something... well if thats the case, either delete threads that are that old, or dont complain when they are revived, as it takes up less space than 1 old + 1 new
-
We can discuss if it is good or not to let topics die, however, IIRC, Qhimm said that old topics shouldn't be revived. And he's the admin after all.

The rationale is that two years after the last post has been made, no one still remembers their trains of thought anyway. Better with a fresh start than the unavoidable confusion resulting from some people trying to read the entire thread from the start and some people just reading the last few posts, with no people remembering anything more about the topic than what was condensed into letters.
Not to mention keeping a strict rule prevents a lot of useless posts that may or may not add anything to a topic which there's a good chance no one still cares about.

wow, i wasnt expecting to start such a big discussion on "do's and do not's when posting in forums", however i just didnt want to open up a whole thread just for this one single pic of mine, plus it was only a 2 posts-thread, so it didnt seem wrong to me posting it in here...
anyway sorry for causing trouble

wow, man I didn't even remember posting this untill i laid eyes on this thread. hehe I can't beleive I thought somone would want my crappy old gunblade model back then, hehe compared to what I've made lately its a peice of trash. I'm soo dissapointed with myself 3 years ago heh.
