Title: FF7 Remix new FMV's not playing

Hey guys,

I'm really new here and I just recently got most of my mod setup working, except for the new FMV's that are provided within the FF7 Remix 2.5.1 patch. It keeps playing the original movies from the iso/cd.

What do I need to change to get these new movies to work? I checked to see if there was a movie available from the guy who made the patch, but nothing.

you have to alter your FF7 registry keys to point to the directory where the new movies are stored. I believe the string is called "MoviePath", or something along those lines.

Thank you, figured it out :D

Also found a registery file someone made for this purpose and I just altered the file location in the registry string.

Nope. Hit Windows + R and type in regedit and press OK. Search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then SOFTWARE, Square Soft, Inc. ; Final Fantasy VII and change the moviepath to the one where your videos are stored. Don't forget to add "\" at the end or it won't work. IF you are using 64 bits systems AND can't find Square Soft, Inc. inside SOFTWARE you need to go into Wow6432node before.
