Hi there.
For some time I have been working on a field script decompiler for Chrono Cross.
I have uploaded the current version of the source code and decompiled scripts there: http://rapidshare.com/files/444405977/CC.zip
I hear Xeno is relatively close to CC in term of field script, so this could help...

Funny how nobody bothered to reply to your awesome stuff. This will definitively be useful, especially to fix errors like the infinite Jakotsu/Viper Level 7 Element bug and other minor stuff in Field. Have you ever thought about adding support to the Japanese version and fixing the script dumper to out utf8 text instead of plain ASCII?

no one replied because it's a six month old topic... Don't necopost!

That's the whole point of my message. Six months and not even a single reply. It's almost as "If it's not FFVII, screw this stuff!". :(

yaz0r sent it to me a bit before posting it here and I look at this stuff in detail. The system looks quite similar to Xenogears.

Yeah I feel a little guilty too but truth is I only like a few games enough to edit them...

The system looks quite similar to Xenogears.
It does because it's the same engine expanded with assets and pieces of code from Final Fantasy VIII. Even the font rendering system is pretty much the same as in Xenogears, but sort of improved.

Didn't the Chrono Cross team come from Xenogears? Who then left to form Monolith?
