Title: Model swapping, renamed parts to change... causes problems?

So I learned something tonight. Despite the fact that most of the Sweepers are just different colors... changing the file names from "av__" (sweeper) to say "cv__" (custom sweeper) or "je__" (death machine) won't work as one would expect. I found that while the models look fine... the enemies don't act right. I encountered "Custom Sweeper", and it just stood around not attacking for a while, and when it did attack, and "Smoke Shot" appeared on screen..... well, "Smoke Shot" was not the attack it used (appeared to use "Machine Gun"), and "Matra Magic" failed to do anything.

Not entirely sure of the reason behind that.... :?

If you open the different models in Kimera you'll probably find that each model has different animations

Ah.... I had done so, but did it in a quick "skim-through" manner. Guess I only saw enough of the similar ones to figure I wouldn't have any problems. ::)

So, would modifying the parts, but keeping the battle skeleton file the same (making any adjustments to the skeleton after loading it all in Kimera), solve the problem?

It's been a while since I messed with all that stuff, but as long as you keep the AA AB and DA file the same, everything will work.  You probably don't need to have all 3 untouched, but like I said...it's been a while

It's the same with the multiple Barret and Vincent models too. Try giving them back their original AB files. Sometimes that's the problem. I don't think anyone knows what the AB files even do...

Yeah, it seems tossing the original **ab and **da files did the trick. :D

That aside.... wow, I had forgotten how the Custom Sweeper takes a while to attack..... or maybe it's just me?
