Title: ff7 window mode question
Post by: infernoic3 on 2011-03-03 17:43:36
So, basically it says it all, is it possible for me to use the same high res of 1280x960 but use it in window mode?
i tried doing the command line parameter but it didn't work for me unless i did it wrong. Also, if your familar with D3Dwindower then i would like to say that actually worked for me, the problem i had was when i clicked on something different other then the game, then go back, my controls cease to function. my i add the game was still running and nothing froze or anything.
any help would be great

oh i see, thanks though i have another question. how can you change the res on it or does it automatcally do it for you when you change to the render to custom driver. it says to "see ff7_opengl.cfg" for config, but how do i open that?

not the text document, the cfg file, aren't we able to select other resolutions or something. or it gives you a fixed resolution. thats what i'm trying to figure out, can you modify the resolution it displays

Use notepad to open the cfg file. That's what he meant.

Just be sure to put in the right resolution, I made a pretty bad fat finger error and put in a very strange res before, I dont remember what it was but it was bad. And ff threw a hissy fit and crashed upon running the game. Though that may have been fixed? This was a long time ago, so sorry for the pointless comment if it automatically reverts the resolution to something else if your an idiot like me and put something retarded in.
