Title: Materia Type: 41 Battle Consideration
Post by: xLostWingx on 2011-03-16 08:03:50
In WallMarket, in the materia types we have:

40 Battle Reward Multiplied by [ x ]/16  Since its multiplied, it needs to be at least 16 to have no effect, 20 would be 1.25 Battle Reward etc.

What I'm confused about it is:

41 Battle Consideration Modified by ([ x ]/16)%  Does it have to be at least [16] to have 0% effect, or will [16] modifiy it by 100%?

Battle consideration 41 works the same as battle consideration 40. IE, 16 = no effect ; 24 = +50%, and 32 = +100%.

Just take note that battle consideration 41 (gil plus) is glitched : even if one of its levels is set to 24, the gil obtained will always double (+100%, as if it was set to 32).

Ignore the whole "Battle Reward/Battle Consideration" terminology. I just didn't know what else to call it. 40 is only used by Exp Plus and 41 is used for Gil Plus, Enemy Away/Lure, and Chocobo Lure (Also notice that in the current wallmarket, if the materia type doesn't change when selecting a different materia the subtype won't change either. Yes, this has been fixed.). This is part of the reason I'm going to make all these tags XML based. So people can figure out what these functions do themselves and put it in terms they understand.

No. It'll be obvious how to make it work. If you don't get it, google it. :P
