Title: Reverse Engineering
Post by: Zophixan on 2002-03-31 22:08:00
I read somewhere that a fan had reversed engineered elite to run on windows. How did he do that? If thats possible to litually port a different systemed game accross to the pc then why couldn't some change a few values and get the ff7 chocobos races to work.

Let's just say that it isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world to do that.
Most people have lives to live and games to play :)

Decompiling into assembler is easy. Making sense of it is a whole different matter.  :)

I've seen a few necroposts here that have revived threads several months older, but this is still quite bad. This one is not so bad (or maybe worse), since it's obviously a bot.
