Title: Final Fantasy VII source code found
Post by: syntax error on 2011-06-05 19:55:19
[link removed - Bosola]

There is an unofficial reverse of ff7.

Its not the original C++ code and needs some editing.
Look at the  funny engrish of the Squaresoft coding team.
16 MB,I wonder what code size Eidos received from Japan.

What do you think of this?

I think nothing because I can't download from rapidshare.

I think its a complete and utter waste of time. Let me guess, you just ran some IDA database through hex-rays? Thats not gonna do it.

1. The output is not anywhere near compilable.
2. Its such a mess that it would be easier to just edit the assembly code.
3. Its very much incomplete, just look at the last line: #error "There were 79 decompilation failure(s) on 9298 function(s)"

Good luck with that, I volunteer you to do "some editing".

Hosting decompiled source (or original source, for that matter) isn't permitted here at the moment.

For that reason, I've had to close the thread and remove the link.
