Title: Some spells not working

I had Remix installed for FF7 but I couldn't get past the 9999 damage limiter. I therefore tried installing a few different mods to break the limiter. The one that finally did the trick was dziugo's 9999 Limiter mod (I installed Gjoerulv.exe before dziugo's mod, but it didn't work).

The problem I'm having is that some skills don't seem to be working. When I cast big guard or regen, for instance, nothing happens.

Anyone know what's going on?

If you're looking for any visual recognition that the spell had been cast successfully, there is none besides the change of color when using certain spells. Also Haste makes the character's animation faster.

Big Guard casts Protect, Shell, and Haste on all allies. Regen gradually restores a target's HP.

Yeah, the materia/spells are not actually doing anything. The player goes through the "Cast Spell" animation, but then nothing happens visually or game mechanically (No glow or health regen).
