Has anyone played the Type 0 demo yet? It's pretty good. You can get it from the Japanese site. Obviously it's in Japanese.

It feels like a combination of Crisis Core, The 3rd Birthday, FF8 and FF10.

One of the characters, Celestia, bears a striking resemblance to Jenova:

Sadly it's been stated by Nomura that it probably won't be available outside of Japan. It will be released October 13th.

I've seen somebody from Japan stream it on Twitch.tv recently.  I could have sworn I saw a Cloud looking character in that game...  could just have been my imagination however...  Looks kinda good for a handheld game... :-P

It's actually incredibly detailed. Heck, there's more polys and higher res textures than there was in Crisis Core.

There's a Cloud looking character, and he seems to be quite "cocky"
I saw him using some kind of lance in a video...

Well, i'm just disapointed that they're still doing action based battles and not the good old turn based ;/ the graphics seems great tough, as always.

Type 0 will see an English release after all. Vincent's VA has confirmed on Twitter that he will be voicing King:

Soo this is only for PSP? damn wished it was for psvita instead can imagine how it would all look :D anyways when english versio comes out will make sure to get this

At first I thought she used a staff...turns out it's a mace.

Anyway game's out in Japan. No word on English release still...

you can always hope for a translation project and then use whatever means the console this is for has to play it

So this is for PSP, and not vita?

yaaay ^- ^ more final fantasy titles for my psp collection, although I imagine it won't have a UMD release?
