Title: FF8 Problem

Ya this is a noob question but I cant get my FF8 to work and Ive tried so many different things its getting frustrating. Ive downloaded 3 different ff8s and none have worked. So basically I can install the game the but when I go to play it always says please insert disc 1. Now Ive gone to regedit and changed the drive and i know i have disc 1 in. Ive ran as an admin and done everything I could think of and nothing is working. Might anyone know whats wrong? I have Windows 7 if that is a problem at all.
