Was wondering if anyone has tested these with Aali's driver to see if they fixed the shader issue?
I'd test it, but i'm at work :P

Yes, I already tested the 280.47 betas and the 'everything is made of light' glitch persists.
However, I did find main.vert and main.frag shaders that seem to work with NVIDIA cards.
NVIDIA Compatible 'nolight' shaders. (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=12008.msg172025#msg172025)
It appears that the shaders included with Aali's OpenGL driver 0.7.11b are missing some code necessary for NVIDIA cards.

Damn.. What do you miss out on when you use no shaders? anything?
have you brought this shader thing up with Aali? maybe he knows how to make sense of it.

Use Xion999's fix to enable shaders on NVIDIA cards.
1) Xion999's 'everything is made of light' fix for NVIDIA cards:
Copy and replace the files .\shaders\main.frag and .\shaders\main.vert into .\shaders\nolight\
2) Enable shaders in ff7_opengl.cfg.
use_shaders = yes

I really wanted to know what difference does it make if shaders is on too if it makes the graphics slightly better or speed up loading times i will always leave it on
