hi forum I have final fantasy versions 1-6 got it at second hand market, so not sure if its original or? if any of the developers/moders, have use for the files I can upload for forum use, just a thought =)
all 6 versions are on a single cd/dvd
-
yeah there pirate copies otherwise they wouldnt be on 1 disc
-
ok yeah, I didnt know anything about the game (ff) when I bought it, how it was packaged etc.
-
The best indicator is if the disc is burned. All retail games are pressed.

1 and 2 were sold together as Final Fantasy Origins (titled Final Fantasy 1+2 in Japan).
4 and 5 were sold together in Europe as Final Fantasy Anthology.
5 and 6 were sold together in the US as Final Fantasy Anthology.
4 and Chrono Trigger were sold together as Final Fantasy Chronicles.
4, 5, and 6 were sold together in Japan as Final Fantasy Collection.
These are the only official collections of early games in the series to have been sold on disc, and all for the Playstation. Any other combination of games on discs is not legitimate; the only other compilations are cartridge-based, and there aren't many. Not to mention, FF3 was a NES exclusive until the DS version came out a few years ago, and has never officially been released on any disc-based medium.
edit: Apparently they were not on single discs. Thanks, PH03N1XFURY!

Oh really? I didn't actually have them, I was just believing what I read online. However, a few minutes of Google Image searching seems to confirm what you said, so I will correct my post.
Nonetheless, my point remains that no compilation has featured any other combination, on any number of discs; they're all separate sets.
...stupid internet, feeding me bad info.
