				So I have the 4 disc's and I've mounted Disc 1 to the e: drive, then I went through regedit to change the datadrive to e: and it STILL says "wrong disc." What's going on? I've even tryed to move it to a diffrent drive (drive f:) and tried throwing in an "\" mark in front of drive ='s e and f in regedit just incase.

				sl1982 noticed this himself and mentioned it on IRC not too long ago. I don't think we ever found a fix, short of reinstalling (which is really more of a workaround).

				so if I uninstall everything and then reinstall it, it should work?

				As long as you reinstall from the drive you want it to use as data drive. If that's a hard drive, it may be tricker; you'd be better off mounting a disc image, installing from that, and mounting whenever you wanna play.

				The important key for Win 7 x64 seems to be here

 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Square Soft, Inc\FINAL FANTASY VIII\1.00]
 "DataDrive"="v:"

 (V: for virtual ;D)
