Title: An idea about ff7 FMVs

Don't know if this has been suggested before or is impractical/illegal, but has anyone ever remade the FF7 cutscenes in flash or some other animated style, as opposed to trying to filter & clean the existing ones? It would be much easier to match the aesthetic of the popular mods this way, I'd think- it's a bit jarring to see chibi, low-poly models in the FMVs.

Flash? 2D animated movies? That would work for some of them, but a lot have 3D game models overlaid, or replace game backgrounds. Imagine how stupid elevator sequences (such as junin_go.avi) would look with a sudden shift in art style.
