I don't know if this an issue with the mods I've installed, but I've encountered a game breaking glitch. It happens when you try to sneak of of Aeris' house when you meet her mom and she tel's you to leave. As soon as I walk out the door I start running in place and a weird static noise happens, and Aeris sees you and tells you to go to your room. No matter ho you try to walk out of the room, you always start running in place and Aeris always hears you, preventing you from leaving. Can anyone help me out with this?
-
I've also deleted and re-installed the whole game and re-applied the mods
-
Don't use the always run mod.
If you've enabled always run, it may appear that you are running but the game thinks you are walking.
Don't press the CANCEL button while you attempt to leave.
-
Even if I try to run out it still happens. Do I have to remove the always run mod?
-
Lol of course I do I didn't read your post right. How do I remove it?
-
I actually just ran through the top and made it xD Thanks for the quick reply though!

One more question though, I have no music going on in the game, and I know it has to do with me not using ipMidi as the sound device. Is there another program I can use cause its annoying to have to keep rebooting my computer to use it

There's a bug with the OSTRe installation.
Unzip the contents of OSTRe.7z into the .\FF7Music\OSTRe\ folder.
Then the music will work.
-
There's no Ostre folder, should I just make one?
-
I made the "\OSTRe\ folder" directory, put the music files in there and it didn't do anything
-
I don't know if you put the "." in front of the folder on purpose but I'm not running Linux I'm running Windows 7 64 bit

Another thing whenever I test the Ethernet Midi Driver in the FF7Config no sound comes out but on the regular midi sound driver it works. But not in game
-
Q:Why is there no sound in the game? Why is the music playing from a different sound device than the game sounds?
A:You need to configure the sound and/or MIDI device.
Run .\FF7Config.exe as Administrator
In the SOUND tab, select the 'Sound Driver'
In the MIDI tab, select the 'MIDI Driver' and the 'MIDI Data'
Click OK to save the settings
Open the Volume Mixer
Adjust the volume for the playback device, applications and FF7 executable

I can run out with the always run mod on. So anyone can if they try.
