Title: error when compiling battle lgp
Post by: omega res novae on 2012-08-10 15:25:47
make new cait sith weapons. all finished but when i try to compile my lgp i get this error.
"the volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid"
ive tried compiling without the texture file included and i still get the same error. so i believe thats not it.
the tools and programs i used are blender 2.63, biturn 0.88, pcreator 85b, kimera 96b, ulgpgui 0.5.

I have successfully created and imported a weapon model once before and im not sure what i missed any ideas

Not sure of that specific error, but as of version 0.7, there is an error that prevents Ulgp from updating an archive if the archive already contains a file with the same file name.
I hope Luksy finds time to release version 0.8 soon!

You can decode the contents of Battle.lgp to a temp folder.
Then copy and replace the new files into the temp folder.
Finally encode the contents of the temp folder into a new Battle.lgp.

Thank you for verifying that PitBrat.
