Title: FF7 overview - This game are sick

An interesting article I found talking about many aspects of FF7 and, while biased, is pretty well fleshed out and proves to be an interesting read, even if I don't agree with everything in it.

The world section and after is the most positive points he notes about the game, and I think the most interesting parts to read, although the whole thing (so far) is pretty interesting

When he likes the game, it's an entertaining read.
But when he doesn't like it, sigh. For instance, he barely talks about the new things that came to the table with Final Fantasy II. There's no mention of the music of Final Fantasy IV and what the Sony SPC700 did for Nobuo Uematsu's career, and he seems to think Barret is the only black man in the world of Final Fantasy VII. ... I'm on his Final Fantasy VIII hate-fest now.
