Title: FF7 Music installed, game working, but midi playing (not .ogg)
Post by: London_Prophet on 2012-09-16 11:53:33
I thought I'd followed all instructions. I'm using remix rather than bootleg (because bootleg wouldn't work). I've got the FFVII music with OSTRe:

Code: [Select]
DataPath is C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII\ficedula\
Init patches
Reading ini...
Parsing paths... -currently Custom_Music
OSTRe
FF7_PSF
C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII\ficedula\
.\

File search paths:
   Custom_Music\
   OSTRe\
   FF7_PSF\
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII\ficedula\
   .\
Files count: 95
Patch init done

INITIALIZE DD/D3D START

END UNINITIALIZE DD

What can I do or check?

Hi London_Prophet

Do not use the remix that's outdated and has minor bugs. Use bootleg instead.

Install FF7 not to "Program Files (x86)", please change the installation path to eg "C:\Games\Final Fantasy VII".

Disable your virus scanner when you install the MODs with bootleg (not during playing later).
Some mods change original files wherein antivirus software react.
All mods here in the forum have been used many times, it was so far found no virus in it.

And for FF7Music read this (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=7d0670e2e03b0fd8c27b811bb410e1e9&topic=13604.msg190524#msg190524).
