Post by: Tyrany on 2012-10-06 11:09:37
Big Question, my hi res dont find the aali's driver, but its installed and its working properly so no clue about thir error, maybe w7 fault
so i extracted everything and i've put the files on the my mod path and almost everything works, only missing the worldmap textures, i've tryed to put the on the world folder and on flevel but no luck, dkw if it because it needs another folder or if the folders that got the files (beach, montain etc
aren't properly named)

Can you be more precise? "hires" doesn't tell us what you're talking about. A more detailed description would be welcomed.

I'm guessing it's the avalanche hi-res..

Can you tell us the version of Aali's driver you are using,

also if when installing the avalanche hi res it says that aali driver not found, it probably means there's something wrong with how you installed your aali's driver. You should fix that first, it may pose a problem with other mods..

then you should try to install avalanche hi res thru the installer than maunually doing it, avoids a lot problems.

Hi

If he really means Team Avalanches HighRes.exe and if he has a 64-bit Windows ,the error is in the MOD.
The installer looks in the wrong registry key, if Aalis driver is used or not..
But you can trick the installer.

Open the Registry Editor and look for the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII\1.00\Graphics

There change the value for "Driver" to 3

Then install the "HighRes.exe" and then install "Avalanche GUI v2.0.8.exe".
