Title: Suggestion: Separate FF8 forums from FF7 for easier navigation

Umm i would like to organize a bit, so how can this be done? U need to be a moderator to move forums.
Im suggesting a bit FF8 and FF7 and Other folder, for easier navigation, because I tend to find that important infos get lost in the lots of subforums... :-\
What da ya think???

It's a considerable project, moving all the FF8 stuff over to new forums. It'd be nice to do, but it would take a lot of time to sort out.

Having a bias towards FF8 I would say yes.  I have not played 7 so I'm only here for 8 stuff.

It could be considered, but yes it would be a quite daunting task. One that I would not ask the current staff to do. Perhaps it could be done by appointed people. I will discuss it with the staff.

At least we could make it mandatory for users to put some referencing in the new topics like: FF8:... Or such, so it would much easier to browse trough them.

Would this be just for general discussion threads? Why would this be necessary?

Most users do already do this, and besides, it's usually apparent from the thread title what FF is being discussed.

Ha - I hadn't noticed! Necro-ing is still probably preferable to creating identical threads, though.

Well, necroing isn't specifically against the rules, as long as it adds to the discussion. An idea is certainly better than necroing with "thanks for this", which I've seen far too often.
