Title: Final Fantasy Crisis Core Animations
Post by: Sephikz on 2012-11-20 16:20:43
Hello.

I have registered in this forum because I see that much like the world of Final Fantasy, textures, models, sounds... And I know that many people who know too much about all this there are.

I want to ask one thing,

I want to make Final Fantasy Crisis Core models, I have downloaded the ISO and with NOESIS I can export all, but I would like to animations, after many days looking for information, I know that animations are in the format .mot and I think know currently there is no exporter or converter or viewer.

Do any of you managed to edit animations?

If it isn't, I would like to me to give information on how to edit/export animations of FFVII Remake. Since there are some models that I want to and are in that game.

Thanks.

We don't support ripping of models from PSP games here, and certainly not from pirated copies of PSP games.

We also don't give support to people who are stupid enough to openly admit to piracy

Downloading an iso while you own the original disc isn't illegal right? Also, downloading an iso is less trouble than ripping it yourself as that requires a hacked psp, which is probably just as illegal.

Give this man some help, it looks like he's willing to do something the people at this forum aren't willing to do because squeenix will get mad. (which i understand the reasons for and respect them) We might get a fully crisis core modelled and animated ff7 one day. What's not to like?

In the United States downloading an ISO is illegal even if you own the original game.
You're entitled to make one backup of your original software.

Um, really? Since when? I think "squeenix" and "Square-Enix Holdings Co., Ltd." both will not get mad because they have plenty to worry about when it comes to piracy. That is why they made it hard to illegally get a serial number for the 2012 version of Final Fantasy VII for the personal computer. Also, my sympathies to Mike Fisher, because he has allot to deal with every day.

As far as Crisis Core goes, animations haven't been decoded yet - they may not even be in the models files.

getting a pirated copy of the 2012 FF7 release is the single easiest thing ever.
The only way to stop piracy, and that only with mediocre success, is the diablo 3 way. no local gaming.
and even then there are server emulators then.

I've once thought, what would the world look like if all the pirates had a big bright light glowing over top of their heads. Would they be more ashamed and stop? It seems there is no shame in it because it's so easy to get away with, and since that's the case, it's even as easy as talking about it publicly such as this OP. The internet shields our identity, so I bet the OP just turned around and walked away after Covarr posted.

If publishers found a way to completely prevent piracy then nobody would play a lot of the crappy games they try to sell for $60.
If they made better, quality games then more gamers would happily support the developers.
Would 0% piracy mean cheaper games or simply give publishers an excuse to charge whatever they wanted?

Who hasn't felt burned about spending $15 for some POS DLC?
Some games are so terrible that nobody even wants to steal them.

And with some of the crappy DRM schemes, a person has to crack a legitimately purchased game just to make it run correctly.

So now that UMD's are dead tech, how are we going to play our favorites like CC on the Vita?

...Anyways, these "animations" from Crisis Core are not the best. They are static, pre-determined, and non-organic. The cut scenes in Crisis Core are good, yet one can not get data from a video for Final Fantasy VII animations. I am content with how the original animations are in the game.
