Title: Final Fantasy VIII fan translation?

I was wondering, how hard is it to translate a PSX game into a different language? I know it's relatively easy to translate SNES games into other languages, but I haven't seen it done with a PSX game. I would love to translate my favorite game of all time (FF8) into my favorite language (Basque) for others to play, but from what I can tell, that wouldn't be so easy. Is it possible to do at all?

Thanks! I didn't see that before.

So, it doesn't seem it is possible to edit the text files yet, am I correct?

EDIT: I'm stupid, I'm sure this is for the PC version only? I was trying to edit the PSX ISO. :P

You better talk to myst6re ;) But for the pc version it is possible.

Thanks! I saw that, but was unsure what it was, so I never checked it out. My translation is underway. :) I'll make a thread here and post as I progress.
