Looks like we're about to have an HD release of FF8 just like 7 before it.

Yeah, I've been predicting this for a few weeks now, what with both (http://steamdb.info/app/39140/) games (http://steamdb.info/app/39150/) getting numerous Steam registry updates over the past few months. I'm predicting a surprise Apple-style "available right now" announcement during E3.

That's great news, though I believe there's a long way until then ... might there be any light in importing the modded models as well? I wish so...

wonder what improvements they will have. I doubt they rerendered the backgrounds at a higher resolution, So i am guessing it's just like the 2012 FF7 release. in that you can select a higher resolution.

"Same ol' shit" development tool (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsFswQ7W81c) then I guess

It doesn't sound like they're going for the Cloud-Saving...Character Boosting...Square Achievement crap this time though. Sounds like it's just a straight re-release. We'll see what happens, 8 would be way easier to upscale. However, if the rumors are true about eidos source code being lost in the abyss then I wouldn't expect that much.

IF they do what they done to FVIII, i wont give a Cent.
If they made better than this...
