Hi there,
I have installed Tifa's Bootleg FF7VII Mod and it works great!
I just wanted to have a bit more information on the difficulty settings.
the drop-down menu includes difficulty settings such as:
Lost Wing
Hardcore
Remastered
Normal
Etc
Basically I wanted to know (in detail if possible) what each setting will have in store for me for when I play the game, what it changed, what it makes easier etc
Or if there is already a link to someone explaining the settings of each difficulty that would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

most if not all of these mods have their own thread
Nightmare is the hardest version followed by Hardcore
dont know about the others

Where would the posts be?

There is also a search bar in the upper right.

Been on this site a few days now, everyday when I click on it
"Due to high stress on the server, the search function has been automatically and temporarily disabled. Please try again in a short while."
That's not really an option but thank you for the link

Google's really good at in-site searches when the site's own search won't work.

Hey,
Anyone knows the mod "Mod switching - All mods"? If anyone here did installed it with the bootleg, could you pleased tell me how to switch between difficulty mod? Where can you select it?
Thank you!

FF7 Bootloader will have a drop-down menu for the modes. It's very likely your game will encounter bugs and not work though. It's a feature that hasn't been completely ironed out.

oh...that's probably what happened...so I just should installed it with, let's say, the reasonnable difficulty mod and play with it?
-
Yeah, to avoid any problems, I stick to one. With Mode Switching, you'd have to switch out between different modes to fix a problem. In some cases, I'm not even sure switching would fix it because of some other mod's reliance on the flevel.lgp that gets swapped around. I've never played a full game through Mode Switching, but we see lots of reports on it.

okay. I don't understand half of what you said! :) But I do understand the important wich is, don't use the Switching mod!:P
thanks :)
