So does this mean we can do more with FF7 or is this something else entirely?

As far as I can understand it's just another way for indie devs to get their ideas out there and possibly recieve backing from SE, and for the consumers to vote on the ideas. There's the added bonus of MAYBE being given access to old Eidos IP, so anything FF-related is almost certainly out.

psh turns out to be its just a lame c**k tease.  Got my hopes up a little when they said sourcing.
